Church Planting

In the great commission, Jesus instructed his followers to go and make disciples.  To reproduce themselves by passing along the incredible message of hope they had received from Jesus.  This is why we believe that evangelism is such an important ministry in the local church, and at its core, church planting is a ministry of evangelism.  The goal of church planting is to reach new communities that need to hear the Gospel, and slowly begin to establish a new church community as people come to know Christ.

FBC has always been passionate about sharing the hope of the Gospel with our community, and as God has blessed us, we have begun to look at other nearby communities that need the Gospel as well.  The town of Baden, while being so close to New Hamburg, is the perfect community to establish a new church.  It is a town of 6,000 people, set to double in size in the next ten years, and it is a community full of people who need to know Christ.  After much prayer and consideration, we feel that God has called us to plant a new church in Baden.
